Russia’s W5 Kickboxing promotion is set for February 18, 2017 in Moscow, Russia. Headlining the event will be a 71 kg title fight between current champion Artem Pashporin and Giorgio Petrosyan (@petrosyandoctor).

The 24 year old Pashporin has scored some big wins under the W5 promotional banner. They include victories over Cosmo Alexandre (@CosmoAlexandre) and Chris Ngimbi, but Petrosyan will be his biggest fight to date.

Petrosyan has rattled off seven straight wins since losing to Andy Ristie in 2013. He scored an impressive stoppage of highly ranked Jordan Watson in his last fight this past December at Bellator Kickboxing. He is widely regarded by many to be the best Kickboxer in the world at the moment. He is known for his surgical like precision in the ring, which has earned him the nickname The Doctor.

Other notable fights taking place at the event include Abdarhmane Coulibaly vs. Turpal Tokaev and Sergio Wielzen (@SergioWielzen) vs. Timur Nadrov.
